A clear path to achieve your goals.

Borrowing can feel like a maze of rates, jargon and fine print. We start with a conversation instead, because the right loan depends on where you're headed, not just what's on the shelf.

Our mission is to always be there to guide fellow Australians in life's biggest moments.

Stanford Financial follows a six-step process on every loan: a free first conversation to establish the facts, an assessment of your borrowing position across our lender panel, a written comparison of options and costs, an application prepared and lodged by a named broker who stays with your file, coordination with Stanford Legal where a matter touches both, and a review after settlement. You'll always know where your application is up to.

OUR PROCESS

Six steps from first call to keys in hand.

A free kick-off conversation

Tell us what you're working towards. A first home, the next one, a refinance, an investment. No cost, no obligation, and no pressure to be "loan ready". We'll tell you honestly where you stand, even if the honest answer is not yet.

We do the ground work

Good advice starts with homework, so we do ours first. Your income, your deposit, your commitments, your timeline: we build the full picture, then test it against our lender panel. Nobody recommends anything until the facts are in.

Present clear options

Then we show you what we found, in plain English. Which loans genuinely fit, what each one costs over the years you'll actually hold it, and the trade-offs nobody puts in the brochure. You decide. We just make sure it's an informed decision.

Action the plan

This is where most borrowers start chasing paperwork. You won't. We prepare the application, package your documents the way your lender wants them, lodge, and follow up until there's an answer. If you're wondering where things are up to, we've already told you.

Achieve the dream

Settlement booked, keys in hand. The last stretch is where deals wobble, so we don't step back: we stay across valuation, formal approval and settlement day, working alongside your solicitor or conveyancer so nothing falls through a gap at the finish.

Partner for life

Most brokers go quiet after settlement. We diarise it. Your rate gets reviewed as the market moves, and when life changes, the next home, the renovation, the investment property, you're calling someone who already knows your file.
QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Can't find an answer to your question?
What happens in the first consultation?
We start by listening. Your first conversation is about understanding your situation, your goals and your timeframe. If your matter touches more than one part of the group, we'll explain that before bringing anyone else in.
Do I need to bring anything to the first meeting?
Bring anything relevant to your situation, such as contracts, loan documents or correspondence you've already received. If there's anything specific that would help, we'll let you know beforehand.
How does information move between Stanford Legal and Stanford Financial?
Stanford Legal and Stanford Financial are separate, related entities, so your information is only shared between them with your permission. If your matter calls for both, we'll explain the referral and any benefit the group receives in writing before anything is shared.
Will I deal with the same person the whole way through?
Wherever possible, yes. We aim to keep one main point of contact for your matter from your first conversation through to completion, bringing in specialists from Stanford Legal or Stanford Financial as needed, without you having to repeat yourself.
